Bodega Hampers - Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Bodega Hampers. By placing an order with us or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Orders & Payments
1.1 All prices shown are in Euro (€) and exclude VAT where applicable.
1.2 Prices exclude delivery charges, which are calculated at checkout.
1.3 Orders must be paid in full before dispatch. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal.
1.4 Once an order is confirmed, it may not be cancelled within five (5) days of dispatch. Cancellations before this period may incur a 10% processing fee.
2. Delivery
2.1 Deliveries within Ireland are typically made within 3–5 working days. During peak periods (especially December), please allow extra time.
2.2 Delivery dates are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, weather, or customs checks.
2.3 Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays or additional delivery charges.
2.4 Hampers returned due to incorrect addresses or refusal by the recipient will incur a re-delivery fee or a 50% refund charge.
2.5 Once goods are received and signed for, ownership and risk pass to the recipient.
3. International Deliveries
3.1 Overseas deliveries are subject to separate shipping rates and customs regulations.
3.2 Recipients outside Ireland may be required to pay local customs duties or taxes.
3.3 We cannot guarantee delivery dates for international orders or be held responsible for customs delays or confiscations.
4. Product Availability & Substitutions
4.1 All hampers are subject to availability. In the event an item is out of stock, we may substitute it with a product of equal or greater value.
4.2 Photographs on our website are for illustrative purposes — please refer to the listed contents for exact items.
4.3 If a product is damaged in transit, we will replace it promptly at no extra charge.
5. Alcohol & Age Restrictions
5.1 Hampers containing alcohol can only be sold and delivered to individuals aged 18 or over.
5.2 By placing an order, you confirm that both you and the recipient are at least 18 years of age.
6. Chilled & Perishable Items
6.1 Hampers containing chilled or perishable goods must be refrigerated immediately upon delivery.
6.2 Bodega Hampers is not responsible for spoilage if products are not stored correctly after delivery.
7. Ownership & Risk
7.1 All goods remain the property of Bodega Hampers until payment has been received in full.
7.2 Risk transfers to the purchaser upon delivery to the recipient or courier confirmation.
8. Returns & Refunds
8.1 Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns unless items arrive damaged or incorrect.
8.2 Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery if there is an issue with your order.
9. Privacy & Data Protection

10. Liability
10.1 While every care is taken in preparing and packaging hampers, our liability is limited to the replacement or refund of the item(s) in question.
10.2 Bodega Hampers is not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss arising from late delivery, courier delays, or third-party actions.
11. Force Majeure
Bodega Hampers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including weather, strikes, customs issues, or “acts of God.”
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
